D.J. Sliger attended RCES from 1992-2000. He was part of the first kindergarten class to complete k-8th grade in the new school. He played varsity basketball throughout his time in middle school.
As an 8th grader, D.J. had a terrible 4 wheeler accident and lost his leg. He is still appreciative of the way Rogers Creek School and the community rallied around him.
He now serves his community as a traveling preacher and hosts a Christian podcast with his wife. They are opening a candle business called Heavenly Aroma as well.
His son, Deklan, is a third grader at RCES.

She has been married to her husband for 10 years and we have 3 kids. She is also currently battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Join us for a triple feature next Thursday, September 11th! We'll start the evening off with our Annual Title I Meeting at 5:30, followed by our Annual Family Engagement Meeting at 5:45, and end the night with popcorn and a movie at 6:00. Please make plans to attend!
